Is there any fire? Does it get hot?
No real fire at all. It's an ultrasonic diffuser: a light inside the slot makes the cool mist glow where it comes out, and on the lava crackle finish the cracks glow like molten lava. There's no heat, no smoke and no soot, so it's safe to touch.
Do I need the essential oil set?
No. It works with plain tap water as a night light and humidifier. The 6-oil set is optional: it's ticked by default and comes 15% off when you buy it with your diffuser. Untick the box above Add to cart if you'd rather skip it.
Can I change the colour?
Yes. Tap the button to switch between the warm lava glow and 7 colours: red, green, teal, blue, purple, pink and white. On the lava crackle finish, the cracks and the band around the middle glow in the colour you pick.
Does it work as a humidifier?
Yes. It puts moisture back into the air around it, which is lovely in a room dried out by heating.
Can I leave it on overnight?
Yes. It runs at about 30–40 dB, quiet enough for a bedroom, and it switches itself off when the water runs out, so it never runs dry.
How long does a full tank last?
The 200 ml tank gives you about 10 hours of mist from one fill. Just top it up when it runs low.
Which finish should I choose?
Lava crackle is the showstopper: matte black with a fine crackle pattern that glows like molten lava when it's on. Wood grain is softer and more natural: a warm light-brown wood look with a glowing band around the middle, lovely in bright, Scandi-style rooms.
How is it powered?
It's USB powered (4.5 W), so you can plug it into a laptop, a power bank or any USB wall charger. The USB cable is in the box.
How do I fill and clean it?
Lift off the top shell, pour water into the tank up to the max line and add a few drops of oil if you like, then put the shell back on and tap the button. To clean, unplug it, pour out any leftover water and wipe the tank with a soft cloth every few days.
